The 2025 International Digital Energy Expo commenced today in Shenzhen, drawing industry leaders, experts, and professionals from around the world. Centered on the theme "Cleaner Energy Generation, Smarter Grids, Flexible Demand, and Diversified Storage," attendees delved into collaborative development strategies and collectively envisioned a new digital energy ecosystem. Haohan is powered by the world's largest 2710Ah blade battery, specifically tailored for energy storage applications. This innovation delivers over three times the capacity of conventional storage batteries, marking a monumental leap in energy density. With a minimum unit capacity of 14.5MWh, it leads the global rankings. Packed into a standard 20-foot container, Haohan achieves an ultra-high capacity of 10MWh, accompanied by a remarkable Vcts of 52.1%—the highest in the world and 39.7% above the industry average. By requiring fewer containers, reducing spatial footprint, and simplifying management architecture, Haohan elevates system integration to a whole new level, perfectly living up to its motto: "small in size, big in energy."
Moreover, Haohan boasts the world’s highest system protection rating—IP66. It provides complete dust resistance and performs exceptionally even in sandstorms and other harsh environments. This superior protection doubles the service life of dust-sensitive components, reduces system failure rates by 70%, and slashes maintenance costs by 70%, setting an unparalleled benchmark for all-scenario energy storage applications.
According to Cao Hu, Haohan was developed under the guiding principle that "greatness lies in simplicity." Integrating ultra-safety, high efficiency, and an extended service life, it offers robust support for the upcoming TWh-scale power station era. Haohan is poised to empower grid upgrades and propel the energy storage industry toward a greener, smarter, and more sustainable future.
At the expo, BYD Energy Storage also showcased its self-developed PCS all-in-one machine, the GC Flux, and the EMS energy management system, GC Master, alongside Haohan—presenting global users with GW-level grid-forming energy storage solutions. Leveraging the advantage of "full-stack in-house R&D, from cell to grid," the system achieves end-to-end optimized efficiency, fully meeting the demands of storage stations that function as both power and energy hubs. This significantly enhances grid resilience and paves the way for a more flexible, robust, and intelligent energy future. The display attracted large crowds of visitors who stopped to observe, discuss, and exchange ideas—making Haohan the undeniable star of the event.
