On October 29–30, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre hosted All Energy Australia 2025. HiTHIUM, a global leader in energy storage solutions, introduced its sodium-ion energy storage system—the ∞Power N2.28MWh 1h—for the very first time. The company also showcased the ∞Power 6.25MWh long-duration energy storage system and the world’s first long-duration battery, the ∞Cell 1175Ah, demonstrating its latest advances in all-scenario applications, safety, and operational performance.
Australia continues to expand its renewable energy capacity, with wind and solar accounting for a growing share of the power mix. Yet challenges such as price volatility and limited peaking capacity remain. Energy storage has thus become essential to stabilize the grid and maximize the use of renewables. Leveraging its technological expertise and project experience, HiTHIUM is committed to delivering safe, flexible, and efficient storage solutions to support Australia’s clean energy transition.
The ∞Power N2.28MWh 1h sodium-ion system is engineered for instantaneous peak-load response. It incorporates HiTHIUM’s proprietary ∞Cell N162Ah, which offers a 20,000-cycle lifespan and strong performance across a wide temperature range. This enables millisecond-level responses to power fluctuations—ideal for AI data centers, industrial load management, and grid ancillary services.
Also highlighted was the ∞Power 6.25MWh 4h long-duration storage system. Built with high-energy-density batteries and a highly integrated design, it delivers high efficiency, enhanced safety, rapid deployment, and smart operation—making it well-suited for Australia’s 2–8 hour storage needs, including renewable integration, peak shaving, and frequency regulation.
At the conference, Jay Che, Director of Application Engineering, elaborated on the value and flexibility of standardized storage platforms across multiple durations. Michael Rush, Senior Director of Sales for ANZ, shared insights on local service capabilities, safety validation, and Li-Na hybrid solutions tailored for AI data center applications.
Looking forward, HiTHIUM will continue to pursue innovation and quality, strengthen local operations, and expand its global presence—providing safer, more efficient, and reliable energy storage solutions to help Australia reach its 2030/2035 renewable energy targets.
