MADRID, Spain – At the GENERA Trade Fair, EVE Energy and Swedish system integrator Vimab BESS AB entered into a substantial three‑year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership is aimed at deploying 1.48 GWh of energy storage capacity throughout Northern Europe – a step expected to speed up the continent’s transition to renewable energy.
As a frontrunner in the global energy shift, the Nordic region nonetheless grapples with intermittency issues from wind and solar generation. This collaboration seeks to tackle the resulting grid instability and price fluctuations by introducing large‑scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The alliance effectively matches market demand with technical know‑how. EVE Energy will serve as a primary supplier, delivering high‑performance batteries, integrated solutions, and technical support to enable Vimab’s expansion. The seriousness of the commitment is reflected in the first set of orders, already planned for delivery in December.
A representative from a Vimab subsidiary observed that the Nordic market is moving toward diversified value creation, and EVE’s technical and delivery strengths are key to unlocking the region’s potential.
An EVE Energy executive added that Vimab contributes essential project execution and operational experience. Having cooperated previously, the two companies see this partnership as a strategic alignment to promote shared green energy objectives in Europe.
To suit Europe’s varied and challenging conditions, EVE Energy will supply products recognized for high density, safety, and reliability, supported by intelligent BMS and full end‑to‑end services. This project forms a core component of EVE’s European localization strategy, which relies on local partnerships and reinforced regional teams to provide fast, customized responses.
Looking ahead, EVE Energy intends to continue advancing product innovation and, through its global capability network, work with partners around the world to accelerate the energy transition.
