
Since 2024, global demand for industrial and commercial energy storage has surged, becoming a new highlight in the energy storage industry. Data from the Energy Storage Application Branch of the China Chemical and Physical Power Sources Industry Association shows that in the first half of 2025, installed capacity of user-side independent industrial and commercial energy storage reached 1.4 GW/3.4 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 66.10% and 58.39%, respectively. The primary demand for industrial and commercial energy storage is shifting from initial peak-valley arbitrage to a range of value-added services, including emergency backup power, energy conservation and emission reduction, and lower electricity costs.
Against this backdrop, BAK Battery has launched the ENDURO S+ industrial and commercial liquid-cooled integrated cabinet energy storage system, equipped with self-developed 314Ah large-capacity cells. It offers a long cycle life of 10,000 cycles, a high energy density of 190 Wh/kg, 2P high-power performance, and discharge efficiency of over 95%. It has also passed the nail penetration test, ensuring safety and reliability.
The BAK ENDURO S+ features a highly integrated modular design, achieving system discharge efficiency of over 92%. With a single-cabinet capacity of 261 kWh and a footprint of only 1.3 square meters, it saves about 27% space compared to traditional double-door cabinets. The system supports flexible expansion and multi-cabinet parallel connection, allowing up to ten units to be combined, making it suitable for diverse scenarios such as industrial parks, shopping malls, office buildings, and charging stations. In terms of safety, the system incorporates multiple fire protection measures and intelligent monitoring, offering multi-level protection at both the pack and compartment levels, along with 24/7 remote monitoring to effectively prevent risks.
ENDURO S+ also delivers both emergency backup and efficiency-enhancing functions, supporting both on-grid and off-grid operation to ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical equipment. It further reduces electricity costs over the long term through peak shaving and demand management. With a system lifespan of up to 15 years, the payback period is only 3–4 years, delivering cost reduction and efficiency gains.
