SÃO PAULO, Brazil—At Intersolar South America 2026, CORNEX put forward a wide-ranging lineup of energy storage technologies built specifically for Latin American conditions. The showcase spanned utility-scale systems, residential batteries, and sodium-ion solutions, all underscoring the company’s focus on adapting mature products to the region’s energy transition requirements.
For large-scale renewable integration, CORNEX presented two core offerings: its 588Ah high-capacity battery cell and the M6 containerized storage system. The 588Ah cell delivers more than 12,000 cycles and a 96.5% energy efficiency rating, making it a strong candidate for pairing with Brazil’s growing wind and solar capacity. Packaged in a standard 20-foot container, the M6 provides 6.26MWh of storage, improving land-use efficiency by 33% for utility-scale installations and meaningfully reducing upfront investment. The unit is also engineered for harsh climates, featuring IP55 protection and a C5-H anti-corrosion coating that together extend system lifespan by roughly 20%. CORNEX pointed to its completed work in Honduras and Costa Rica as evidence that the technology aligns with Brazilian construction and performance standards.
On the residential side, the company introduced battery cells in 100Ah, 120Ah, and 314Ah configurations to help households manage grid instability and fluctuating power prices. These safety-oriented, compatible options are designed to maximize self-consumption and provide reliable backup power. Another standout was the 165Ah sodium-ion battery, built to operate reliably in extreme heat and high humidity—conditions common across much of Latin America. Its cost advantages and supply chain stability make it especially well suited to the region’s price-sensitive market.CORNEX also displayed light power products for e-mobility and logistics, supporting the ongoing electrification of Brazil’s transport and delivery infrastructure.
Rather than simply delivering products, CORNEX is positioning Brazil as a strategic hub for expanding its regional supply chain and service capabilities. The company’s approach combines global technology expertise with deep local integration, and it plans to strengthen partnerships throughout Latin America to help build modern power systems that are safe, economical, and sustainable over the long term.
