August 13, Shanghai, China – HiTHIUM, a globally recognised innovator in energy storage technology, has entered a strategic distribution partnership with The Imperial Electric Company (Pvt.) Ltd. (IEC Pakistan), a premier power system integrator in Pakistan. The agreement, signed at the China International Energy Storage Expo (EESA EXPO) in Shanghai, covers the distribution of 1GWh of energy storage products tailored for both residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) sectors in Pakistan. This collaboration underscores HiTHIUM’s dedication to global market expansion and sustainable energy access.
The partnership is set to significantly advance Pakistan’s energy infrastructure by deploying high-performance storage systems designed for diverse environmental conditions. A key focus is the introduction of HiTHIUM’s HeroEE home storage series, acclaimed for its reliability and efficiency. In addition to distribution, HiTHIUM and IEC will co-develop customised energy solutions to tackle Pakistan's unique energy issues, optimising system performance for local requirements.
Under the agreement, IEC Pakistan will act as the official distributor for HiTHIUM’s residential energy storage lineup, substantially enhancing the availability of innovative energy technologies throughout the country. To ensure robust local support, HiTHIUM will also establish a service centre in Pakistan, delivering expert technical assistance and responsive customer care, reaffirming its long-term investment in the region.
HiTHIUM continues to lead the industry with safe, durable, and high-efficiency energy storage products developed to meet rising global demand for clean energy. The HeroEE series exemplifies these qualities with several standout features:
● Ultra-Safe LFP Technology: Utilises lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, which are inherently non-combustible, prevent thermal runaway, and support over 11,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge (DoD).
● Modular Scalability: Capacity can be seamlessly expanded from 16kWh to 256kWh by adding battery units to match energy needs.
● Simplified Maintenance: Freely serviceable modules enable individual inspection or replacement without full system shutdown.
● Adaptable Configuration: Offers a flexible power conversion system (PCS) and component setup for specialized applications.
● Uninterrupted Power Supply: With a 200A maximum discharge current, the system can support multiple high-demand loads simultaneously without outage.
For C&I clients, HiTHIUM provides modular and scalable storage options that strengthen energy independence, lower operating expenses, and facilitate renewable integration. These systems are built to perform under rigorous conditions and are valued worldwide for their safety, endurance, and intelligent management features.
With a population exceeding 200 million, Pakistan continues to grapple with energy instability and high electricity costs. This partnership seeks to widen access to affordable and reliable green power through HiTHIUM’s advanced storage platforms and IEC’s strong in-market expertise.
“This initiative goes beyond commercial goals—it’s a pledge to achieve energy equity for families and enterprises throughout Pakistan,” stated Mr. Jianyong You, Deputy General Manager of HiTHIUM’s Residential Energy Storage Division. “Integrating our innovative storage systems with IEC’s grassroots network will enable communities to overcome persistent energy shortages and costly power.”
Mr. Rehman Reza, Operations Director of IEC Group, added, “We are excited to partner with HiTHIUM to introduce state-of-the-art energy storage products to Pakistan. This collaboration will help mitigate the effects of an unstable grid and deliver energy freedom to more people.”
The partnership not only accelerates HiTHIUM’s strategic presence in South Asia but also establishes Pakistan as a focal market for advanced energy storage. It serves as a conduit for innovative Chinese energy technology into Pakistan’s expanding renewables landscape. More than a business venture, the alliance deepens economic cooperation between China and Pakistan and aligns with shared objectives in sustainable development and universal energy access.
Looking forward, the collaboration sets the stage for sustained development in Pakistan’s energy industry, with potential future ventures into large-scale storage and renewable energy installations.
