In this article, I aim to delve into the intricacies of identifying these charging stations. My hope is that this information will provide inspiration and assistance to those looking to invest in and operate more charging stations.
01 Charging Station Identification
The recognition signage for electric vehicle charging stations has been introduced as a new addition to road traffic signs. Starting from October 1, 2022, the mandatory national standard "Road Traffic Signs and Lines Part 2: Road Traffic Signs" will be in effect, and it will incorporate the identification signs specifically designed for electric vehicle charging stations.
▎This signage serves to pinpoint the location or facilities offering DC charging services for electric vehicles. This includes areas designated for DC charging, DC charging stations, and similar equipment. Additionally, it may convey information about the DC charging functionality, a feature typically not applicable while driving on the road.
The design of the DC charging pile logo is available in both horizontal and vertical versions. Typically, the color scheme incorporates a combination of three primary colors: blue and white, with the option of incorporating black or white as well.

This encompasses designated areas for AC charging, AC charging piles, and related equipment. Additionally, it may convey information about the AC charging functionality, a feature typically not utilized while driving on the road.
