At the opening of AERO Asia 2025 in Zhuhai on November 27, CALB showcased its UP high-energy aviation battery system for the first time at the airshow. The company also announced long-term strategic partnerships with Volant Aerotech and EasyFly to jointly explore the immense potential of the low-altitude aviation market.

CALB’s aviation batteries deliver both high energy density and outstanding safety, meeting rigorous aviation-grade standards. With a cell energy density exceeding 360Wh/kg and a system energy density of over 270Wh/kg, the battery supports ultra-high instantaneous power discharge surpassing 1500kW. It serves as the exclusive power source for the Xpeng Huitian X3-F and is also equipped on leading eVTOL models such as the GAC GOVY Airjet, Volant Aerotech’s VE25-100 "SKYLAR," and the EasyFly EF7.

Partnering with Volant to Power the World’s Largest Passenger eVTOL

CALB has entered into deep collaboration with Volant Aerotech on the premium commercial passenger eVTOL model VE25-100 "SKYLAR." Recognized as the world’s largest six-seat commercial passenger eVTOL by cabin space and load capacity, the aircraft has already attracted nearly 2,000 pre-orders. It is designed for diverse applications including low-altitude tourism, emergency rescue, urban commuting, and intercity travel—making flight an integral part of daily life.

Working with EasyFly for Safe and Intelligent Low-Altitude Mobility

Co-developed by CALB and EasyFly, the all-electric lightweight two-seater eVTOL EF7 is tailored for low-altitude sightseeing, short-distance commuting, and flight training. It offers extended endurance, enhanced safety, and user-friendly operation.
