
On April 1, CORNEX unveiled its full-spectrum energy storage solutions at the 14th Energy Storage International Conference and Expo in Beijing, emphasizing the company’s key technological progress across both lithium iron phosphate and sodium-ion battery platforms. During the opening ceremony, CORNEX President Huang Feng reiterated the company’s dedication to advancing next-generation power infrastructure through energy storage products that are safe, dependable, and high-performing.
Thanks to a breakthrough in winding technology, the CORNEX 588Ah battery cell achieves a gravimetric energy density of 190 Wh/kg, a volumetric energy density of 419 Wh/L, and an energy efficiency of 96.5%. Built on a well-established material system and production process, the 588Ah cell guarantees excellent safety, reliability, and an extended service life. By employing multi-stage particle size tuning for the cathode, a stable framework design for the anode, and self-healing electrolyte technology, this product attains a cycle life exceeding 12,000 cycles. To accommodate future large-scale implementation, CORNEX has mapped out a production capacity plan surpassing 200 GWh.
Alongside its lithium iron phosphate offerings, CORNEX showcased its sodium-ion battery products. This dual-technology strategy allows the company to effectively meet varying market needs, cost structures, and application contexts.
