Our client from the UAE has once again ordered 10 units of 12.8V 8Ah LiFePO4 battery packs and 5 units of 12.8V 12Ah LiFePO4 battery packs. These batteries will be deployed in the IoT automation systems at a solar farm. We have equipped these customized battery packs with professional 14.6V 2A chargers.

The client's IoT automation system runs for 15 minutes daily, with the rest of the time in power-saving mode. The system is powered by a 12V power source and, during operation, outputs a stable 5.5A current at 12V for 40 seconds, followed by a stable 0.1A current at 12V for the remaining 15 minutes. The system is also equipped with an MPPT and a 20W solar panel to ensure the batteries remain charged. The batteries will be placed in a shaded enclosed space, with the surrounding ambient temperature ranging from 35°C to 55°C daily.

Considering the need to provide sufficient power in a self-sustaining mode during weeks with no sunlight, we estimate that the client requires at least a 6Ah battery capacity, while also taking into account environmental conditions, charge/discharge rates, and cycle life. Therefore, our battery engineering team designed the 12.8V 8Ah battery pack for the client. After on-site testing, the product performed well, and the client placed another bulk order. The charger selected for this battery pack comes with molded wiring, plug connectors, and UAE-specific plugs. According to the timeline, the client has already received this batch of battery packs and chargers. As the order was airlifted via a dedicated shipping line, no customs duties were required.
