From December 2 to 5 in Shanghai, Marintec China 2025 served as a premier global platform for the maritime industry. Seizing the spotlight, EVE Energy—a pioneer in China’s marine lithium battery sector—introduced its CCS-certified Full-time Active Balancing BMS and Independent Thermal Runaway Gas Venting System. The company also announced strategic partnerships with Royal Van der Leun Groep B.V., Green Whale Technology B.V., and Nantong Chengrui Battery Technology Co., Ltd., highlighting its end-to-end expertise in marine battery safety, system integration, and global ecosystem development.

As the global shipping industry accelerates its green transition, electrification faces a critical challenge: ensuring battery systems are durable, reliable, and fundamentally safe under demanding marine conditions.
EVE Energy’s Full-time Active Balancing BMS tackles capacity loss caused by cell inconsistency. Through high-precision monitoring and proactive energy transfer between cells, it boosts usable capacity, extends cycle life, and enhances operational economy and reliability.
Addressing the serious risk of thermal runaway, the Independent Thermal Runaway Gas Venting System integrates sensitive hazard detection with a rapid-response mechanism. It identifies threats and triggers powerful ventilation (up to 400 m³/h) within 30 seconds, effectively dispersing hazardous gases to prevent secondary incidents and strengthen onboard safety.
Both systems have received formal certification from the China Classification Society (CCS), confirming their marine-ready status. During the event, CCS representatives presented the certification to EVE Energy’s leadership team.
Advanced technology realizes its full potential through deep industry collaboration. The partnerships announced at the event represent a strategic step in EVE Energy’s global expansion and supply chain integration, reflecting its commitment to open cooperation and shared growth.
By joining forces with European partners Royal Van der Leun Groep B.V. and Green Whale Technology B.V., alongside domestic specialist Nantong Chengrui, EVE Energy combines complementary resources and expertise to advance sustainable shipping solutions worldwide.
These alliances underscore EVE Energy’s evolution from a leading battery supplier to an “industrial ecosystem builder” and a “global partner for zero-carbon shipping.” The company believes that collaborating with outstanding partners across the value chain is essential to scaling innovation and unlocking the industry’s full potential.
Moving forward, EVE Energy will continue to build on eight years of practical marine application experience. Grounded in innovation and open cooperation, the company remains dedicated to delivering safer, longer-lasting, and more reliable clean energy solutions—working alongside partners worldwide to steer the shipping industry toward a greener, smarter, and sustainable future.
